Meet the Owner

Hi! My name is Avery. I am the owner and the hands behind Grace and Grain. I’m a 20-year-old entrepreneur from the small state of South Carolina. I was introduced to woodwork at the age of ten, learning alongside my dad, who taught me not just the skills of the craft, but the patience, care, and intention that go into creating something well.

More recently, I’ve begun exploring pottery, drawn to how it can be structured yet forgiving. Working with both wood and clay allows me to embrace and see the beauty in my mistakes, while continuing to learn, grow, and refine my craft.

Every piece I create is made by hand, shaped with care, and grounded in the belief that meaningful objects are created slowly.

Thank you for being here and supporting my journey. I invite you to follow along as I continue to learn, create, and grow — one piece at a time.

Brand vision

Grace and Grain was created to honor craftsmanship, tradition, and the art of creating functional pieces meant to be used, loved, and lived with. My vision is to bring warmth into everyday spaces through thoughtfully designed pottery and woodwork that feels both timeless and unexpected.

As a small, handmade brand, I value sustainability, quality over quantity, and customer satisfaction. I am committed to creating work that lasts, not just in durability, but in purpose and presence.

Grace and Grain is more than a collection of objects. It is an invitation to slow down, gather intentionally, and surround yourself with things that carry a story.
